OffBench is built and operated by Herts Health Consulting, registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). We're a small operation running one focused tool, not a large job-board company.
Interim and contract management consultants don't have one job board — they have ten: NHS Jobs, Reed, Adzuna, and dozens of individual consultancy career pages, each checked separately, each with its own idea of what "senior transformation" means. Generic job boards aren't built for this — they don't understand regulated professional credentials, they don't distinguish a genuine strategic role from noise, and they certainly don't tell you why a listing matched.
OffBench does one thing: it scans everywhere relevant, scores every listing against your actual profile, and shows its working.
Your profile is a weighted list of phrases and categories built from your CV — you can see and edit every part of it. Each listing is scored against that profile with a transparent, explainable rules engine: matched phrases, category weights, and a hard check against regulated-profession requirements so an unrelated clinical role never outscores a genuine fit. If you opt in, a consent-gated AI layer additionally assesses the strongest and most tangential candidates for fit a keyword match alone can't catch — never the other way around, and never without your consent. Travel-time estimates are exactly that: a straight-line-distance estimate, clearly labelled, not a promise.
